June 23, 2025Jun 23 Hi, sorry for writing in English, my Czech isn't good enough to explain myself. Starting late last year, whenever I travel outside the Czech Republic, my Vodafone SIM's reception goes down to zero. I noticed it first in Hungary, and now I'm in Bosnia and there's no reception. I've had this SIM for basically a decade and never had this problem. As well, my wife has a Vodafone SIM and hers is just fine. I'm really not sure why this is happening, but it's making it impossible to use multi-factor authentication in some instances, including into my own Vodafone account. Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this? Od konce minulého roku, kdykoliv vyjedu mimo ČR, tak mi na SIM kartě Vodafone klesne příjem na nulu. Nejdřív jsem si toho všiml v Maďarsku a teď jsem v Bosně a tam není signál žádný. Tuto SIM mám v podstatě deset let a nikdy jsem tento problém neměl. Stejně tak moje žena má SIM kartu Vodafone a její je v pořádku. Opravdu si nejsem jistý, proč se to děje, ale v některých případech to znemožňuje použití vícefaktorového ověřování, a to i do mého vlastního účtu Vodafone. Má někdo nápad, jak to mohu napravit? June 23, 2025Jun 23 hi, make sure your network selection is set to automatic, so your phone can switch to foreign carrierson ios it's under settings > cellular > (your sim if you have multiple of them) > network selectioni currently don't have an android phone on me so i can't check how to set it there, but it should be in somewhat similar placeif that doesn't help, you can enable wifi calling, vodafone supports wifi calling in roaming so if you have it enabled and are connected to a wifi, you should be able to make/receive calls and sms - - - - prague
June 25, 2025Jun 25 @SaintFestias Try your SIM in different phone.Are you sure if nothing has changed on your SIM for roaming (do you have roaming allowed for SIM)? If is roaming service for SIM (in you Vodafone account) enabled and in phone also, try search and connect to network manually. When abroad, you are not using your home network but roaming, which means connecting to a local roaming partner's network.
