HD je prémiový obsah. Řekl bych že to takhle vidí hlavně distributoři kanálů. Ti si nastavují ceny a vzhledem k vyší náročnosti, datovému toku atd. je i vyšší cena. Alespoň si to myslím a přijde mi to logické.

 

Status HD programu jako "prémiový" jestli ne dnes tak zítra je achronismus; pravdou je, což jsem si neuvědomil, že výroba a distribuce (vně UPC) HD programů je ještě dnes náročnější, ještě to nemá dostatečný objem aby klesly náklady, ale už je to snad na cestě...

 

Jinak UPC a ostatní koncoví poskytovatelé asi neotevřou karty jakou marži si tam přihodí dnes a zítra, že.
