Am i getting cheated with internet speed?

im on a 500mb/s paycheck and i usually get under 100mb/s and i heard that vodafone is not ever sticking to those numbers, while a competitor, Digi, when it says its 1gb/s its about 900mb/s...should i change over? am i getting cheated and is it a common practice with the internet providers? im sick and tired of the slowwww upload speed thats always about 10% of the download speed as well

where and how do you measure that? 🤔

speedtest...when im not happy with my internet speed i try it on my phone and laptop (on wifi of course). its not always under 100mbps, once i had like 350mbps and i know i dont have hardware limitations

you must always measure on pc connected by cable directly to the modem, otherwise the results may be inaccurate
